Latvia's Jewish Community: History, Tragedy, Revival (16 X - 16 XI 2007)
The exhibition presents the contribution of the Latvian Jews to the development of their country – from their first arrival in 16th century, through the immigration in 19th c. up to current days. It shows the input of the Jewish community into Latvian national culture, their strong links with Latvia and their material, spiritual and intellectual heritage.

Preparation of the exhibition:
Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia, ‘Jews in Latvia’ Museum, Embassy of the United States of America in Riga, National Museum of the History of Latvia.

Organizers of the exhibition in Warsaw:
Embassy of the Republic of Latvia and the Jewish Historical Institute.
