The research staff at ZIH consists of specialists pursuing various lines of study. These areas include monograph studies of communities (Jews of Warsaw), the history of ideas (Jewish mysticism, Hasidic movement, anti-Semitism), periods of Jewish history (Polish Commonwealth, postwar period), and sociological identity studies of post-war generations. Our scholarly teams also work to publish scholarly editions of unique source materials that are gathered and preserved at ZIH, including the Ringelblum Archives or the post-war files from teh Central Committee of Polish Jews.
